Brunel’s SS Great Britain
If your community group received HAF funding you can book for up to 30 people to visit Brunel’s SS Great Britain during the following dates (subject to availability):
- Spring (Easter) Holiday: 29th March 2024 – 12th April 2024 (9 days available)
- Summer Holiday: 24th July 2024 – 30th August 2024 (27 days available) (excluding weekends and Monday 28 August).
Visits include full admission to the site and a packed lunch for school age children and young people who are in receipt of free school meals.
There’s lots to see and do at Brunel’s SS Great Britain in Bristol. Explore the historic dockyard and head beneath the glass sea into the dry dock. Step back in time in the Dockyard Museum as you prepare to board the SS Great Britain herself. Alive with sights, sounds and even smells, set sail on the world’s first great ocean liner. Don’t miss the Being Brunel museum, discovering Brunel’s extraordinary achievements and stepping into his office and family dining room. And head behind-the-scenes to see inside a working shipyard.
